Engineered and heavily tested to the last detail, the PULSAR 550W power supply employs high-quality components and essential features like Japanese main capacitor rated for 105°C, Fluid Dynamic Bearing 120 mm fan with high-static pressure for excellent cooling, temperature-controlled fan speed for quiet operation, and Active Power Factor Correction which uses electronic circuits in efficiently distributing power to devices connected to the power supply.
A full array of protections is also embedded, shielding against multiple events: Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Over Current, Over Power, Over Temperature, and Short Circuit.
AESTHETICS MATTERS
All PULSAR models use ribbon-type fixed black cables to warrant better cable management. This heightens the build aesthetics and plays a decisive role in ensuring a non-restricted airflow inside your PC.
And since ARGB illumination has become ubiquitous, you can have our cool logo illuminating in-sync with the rest of your hardware by connecting the PULSAR to the ARGB header on a compatible motherboard. Or you can manually choose the lighting effects of the PULSAR using the dedicated button placed on the PSU.
FUN FACTS
From Earth, pulsars often look like flickering stars, but they aren't really stars, or at least they aren't “living” stars. They are very fast-spinning neutron stars that form when a star more massive than the sun runs out of fuel and collapses on itself.
